Quantity Surveying

What is Quantity Surveying and how can it help you as a small developer?

In property development, financial management of a new build development from commencement to completion refers to overseeing and controlling all financial aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle. This process begins at the project’s inception, where initial budgets are set, funding is secured, and cost estimates are prepared. As the project progresses, financial management involves monitoring and controlling expenditures, managing cash flow, ensuring payments to contractors and suppliers are made on time, and adjusting budgets as necessary to account for unforeseen costs or changes in scope. Effective financial management ensures that the development stays within budget, meets financial targets, and delivers the expected return on investment by the time it reaches completion. It also includes preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contractual obligations.

FAQ’s

Would you work remotely or be willing to work from our offices?

Either or both would be an option, we would work around your requirements and ensure our presence is no different to having an additional employee on the team

Why would using a Consultant benefit our Company more than an additional employee?

You would receive an experienced member of the team who could be utilised dependant on your requirements. You could utilise us as much or as little as you require each month rather than pay a full time employee that you may not require during quiet periods.

Would you provide us with a day rate or a fixed project fee?

This would depend on the project. We can offer both of these options however sometimes it is difficult to ascertain the time required so would maybe suggest a provisional timescale to give you an estimated cost for your budget purposes.

How could we be sure that you would prioritise our Company needs?

You would be allocated a specific member of the team to ensure continuity and all of our team are instructed to treat Clients as though they work for them directly. They would work alongside your current team and ensure you are their priority on contracted days as well as being available at all other times to assist with any queries that you may have.
