Earthworks Analysis
(Via Easy Earthworks)
What is Earthworks Analysis and how can it help you as a small developer?
In property development, analysing cut and fill requirements is essential for assessing the earthworks needed to prepare a site for construction. This involves using professional software to input the original ground levels and the proposed finished levels of the land to determine how much material needs to be cut (excavated) or filled (added) to achieve the desired grading. By comparing these levels, the developer can accurately plan the earthmoving operations. Additionally, 3D modeling is often used to visually illustrate the terrain and the results of the cut and fill analysis, providing a clear understanding of the volume and distribution of materials required. This process ensures efficient land preparation, reduces material wastage, and minimizes costs associated with site grading.

FAQ’s
Would you work remotely or be willing to work from our offices?
Either or both would be an option, we would work around your requirements and ensure our presence is no different to having an additional employee on the team
Why would using a Consultant benefit our Company more than an additional employee?
You would receive an experienced member of the team who could be utilised dependant on your requirements. You could utilise us as much or as little as you require each month rather than pay a full time employee that you may not require during quiet periods.
Would you provide us with a day rate or a fixed project fee?
This would depend on the project. We can offer both of these options however sometimes it is difficult to ascertain the time required so would maybe suggest a provisional timescale to give you an estimated cost for your budget purposes.
How could we be sure that you would prioritise our Company needs?
You would be allocated a specific member of the team to ensure continuity and all of our team are instructed to treat Clients as though they work for them directly. They would work alongside your current team and ensure you are their priority on contracted days as well as being available at all other times to assist with any queries that you may have.
